Kay is one of the sweetest, easy going, BOMBPROOF horses we've every had the pleasure of having in the barn.

 

Kay is absolutely unflappable. She is a tried and true, "been there, done that" type horse. She has been raising beginner riders the majority of her life. Kay will ride both disciplines and has gone over poles just a few times. She would make the perfect all around show/playday horse. She has also had a rope swung off her and would be perfect for a kid wanting to learn how to rope the dummy and track. She is as EASY and GENTLE as they come. Kay LOVES attention and will stand all day for a good brushing. Nothing spooks this mare! The very first time we had he out to ride, we flew the drone right next to, above, and behind her. She never once even gave it a look. Kay is one you can trust to take care of anyone. She will walk all day if you want, but she also moves gaits with ease. She is one rein broke and will move off legs. Kay does have some speed when asked, and would make a great payday prospect. She does not know the play day events yet, but would be very willing to learn them. She would also make a very good first horse, or just a horse to enjoy the trails on with no attitude issues. Kay rides out well alone and does what you ask her to, when you ask her to! There aren't enough good things to say about her. We haven't been able to spook her no matter the situation. She has ZERO buck, rear, or anything of that nature. A child could crawl all over this mare while tied and she wouldn't flinch. Kay is very gentle with her feet and just got them freshly done. She also was just floated by our dentist, who verified age. Regardless of what you would want to use her for, Kay is sure to impress and earn her keep!

She unfortunately got in the hands of someone that was not educated on proper nutrition. Due to this, Kay has a thinner than desired top line. She is on full alfalfa with us and is building it back well.
