Mino is a one of the kind Appaloosa gelding. He goes anywhere you point and will ride on a loose rein. He absolutely didn’t bat an eye at the sights and sounds of the Fort Worth Stockyards and he lived for the attention he received from bystanders. He’s guaranteed to put eyes on you anywhere you go! Mino was the star of the show on that afternoon! He had people from all walks of life begging to take a picture with him. He had bikers, other riders, drunk people, timid people, loud people, guitars, atvs and lots more around him and NOTHING cause a reaction from him.

Mino neck reins with ease and moves off of leg cues. He’s been started right and is ready to go in absolutely any direction. He will get up and go when asked and for this reason we think he would make an excellent barrel or rope horse prospect. Mino has spent the last few months on a working outfit in New Mexico. He’s mostly just rode in the pastures with the kids, and pushed cows. He hasn’t been roped off of yet, but has been around them. He definitely has the potential to make something in the roping pen. He has all the basics down and is the perfect size to put on the heel side or even breakaway on.

Mino is peppy when asked and he’s pretty feely for an app horse. He would be best fit for an intermediate rider, but if you’re working with a training/someone experienced, he could definitely be a fit for a beginner rider.
